In my honest opinion I don't think that anyone should get the death penalty its just making you as bad as them, I feel as though they should serve out their life sentences and suffer everyday with knowing the crime that it was that they committed. I dont believe in it and then people sit around and watch it like some kind of freak show I dont get it. I also feel like they should take that off the list of things that happen when people commit crimes  i know if you commit murder here in the state of Texas you get the death penalty. i dont know alot about the death penalty as I am going to be doing my research today but I dont think death penalty should even be an option anymore to be honest. Any thoughts ?

          Hi Ms. Hillman,
My name is Rachel and I have participated here on the discussion board on numerous accounts. Nice to meet you and read this particular post. How is the weather in Texas?
My condolences for the prior hurricanes and wish everyone well. Regarding your perspective on the death penalty I agree with you on certain points, however what exactly is meant by
not having the option to get put out of one's misery "I also feel like they should take that off the list of things that happen when people commit crimes  i know if you commit murder here in the state of Texas you get the death penalty" and how do you feel the penalties are for harsh crimes in Texas compare and contrasted to harsh crimes committed in let's say Virginia?
Do you believe the death penalty is proper for people utilizing the option of abortion in certain circumstances? Is abortion murder upon a fetus or is the death penalty designated for adults and juveniles committing only the act equal to that of the suggested penalty?
Here's a great story I located initiated initially from the DeVry Library of publications, and your invited to check out the results I found as well:
