1. Schmalleger (2014) defines psychological and psychiatric theories of criminal behavior as being "characterized by conditioned behavior, human cognition, or the psychoanalytic structure of the human personality" and overall when these factors are teamed up together the personality of an individual fluctuates to feel a sense of safety when current circumstances whether extremely dangerous or not may get related to one object that recalls from memory or childhood another object related to an extremely safe circumstances, therefore confusing the individual into committing crimes, acquiring disease, choosing the wrong partner, making the incorrect business decisions, etc.
For example, a woman or man chooses to work for a plumbing company that pays only 5 dollars per hour.
The company has no benefits whatsoever, is located in a radiation testing plant, has been reported by the Better Business Bureau as the worst company ever to exist, and the other company offering $100 per hour, has medical and dental benefits, flexible hours to accommodate family considerations, etc. is rejected by the worker.
After observation, scientists may find that the $5 per hour job has 3 employees working inside who resemble the man or woman's great grandpa who used to always wear a really cool fuzzy Santa Claus hat around Christmas time. This was when the man or woman first learned to tie his shoes, had really cool holiday meals with family members, a safe place to reside, and tons of gifts and presents, but really the Oldsmobile car parked out in front really gives the man or woman warm feelings of the safe childhood experience once felt in adolescence.
Now although the workers inside have acquired lung disease from the power plant, cancerous illnesses in other employees, experienced fumigation leaks, had a random ceiling collapse while at lunch, and found lead in the purified water sources on the land and inside the facility, the person continues to feel safe, free, at home, and will continue to work there at the power plant until his lungs collapse from heavy radioactive fumigation materials...all because of the Oldsmobile parked outside like his great grandpa drove back in Tennessee.
Hmmm...
This scenario occurs everyday all over North America, in workplaces, in shopping centers, when banking, when driving, and going on tours in Hollywood or even leaving your wife to have unsafe conjugation with persons carrying active full blown HIV and AIDS. Just because someone got a hold of a conditioning application, is revengeful because their lonely and miserable and the other person is happily married, they set out on a revenge seeking expedition to brainwash a married man into disease, pedophilia, danger, drug use, self-abuse, funky breath, disgusting genital hygiene, just to receive 'control' over the wife, but when the wife is no where around receiving positive reinforcement for 20 seconds while no one is listening or responding, simply amounts to a divorce, a rapid drop in health status, disgusting disease and personal hygiene, and a dangerous car with a line snorting and heroin injection addiction as well as a pedophile addiction and the character acquired of a con artist who is never capable of being entrusted with legal marital status.
