I agree Professor that although the idea of reentry is a great one, depending on the level of monitoring required for prisoners released back into society the vast options aren't necessarily considered as an actual downfall or 'relapse' for those who are in need of positive and frequent reinforcement. Just house arrest with complete freedom doesn't protect the offender from offending and re-entering the prison system shortly thereafter before completing the initial community-centered program first. This potentially vicious cycle leads to prison overcrowding and other major issues for the overall correctional administration. Depending on the Crime, The Circumstance, and The Future of Released Prisoners:- There's lots to gain for both parties by integrating sports, healthcare, and reentry in a combined program
- The program of reentry utilizing sports rebuilds a character for the released prisoners
- The programs of reentry creates more jobs for the offices of probation, correctional staff workers, and leadership roles for the released offenders
- The experience of the corrected behavior may not go to waste, but get utilized as a tool to assist other generations of people in the same circumstance
- The overall gesture contributes to a new budget for the corrections system allocated for better services to prisoners, better salaries for correctional staff, more jobs for contractors, better and higher levels of monitoring without confronting the issues of needing more measures to guide prison releasees, and retrains the offender for transition into society for housing, community service and articulation for interpersonal skills, positive feedback on progress, frequent contact with officers in a non-intrusive 'feeling' manner, the rebuilding of self-esteem for offender while regaining the trust of friends, family members, and society.
- The chances of recidivism would greatly decrease once [enrolled] in the school system for reentry sports training, bible study, and community leadership for adult and juvenile special offenders nationwide.
- The program may also become adopted under a blanket purchase agreement to other prison systems worldwide offering even more revenue to the corrections systems of the United States of America.
- For example, US Congressional leaders would sign a bill into office that is entitled:
- The Beverly Hills Act for Offender Protections and Rights of 2018
- Adopt a renewed level of standards nationwide for the reintegration of healthcare services within the prison systems, protections of gender choice, protections against prison rape, securement of nutrition and healthy housing from violent contact, staff injury protections integration for a safe and healthy workplace, the intravenous medication reduction amendment to reduce drug overdose in offenders, the safehouse protection against identity theft within prison systems of offenders & staff workers switched by authorities practicing racketeering, organized mafia crime, and cartel trafficking.
